More on Millineals living like Kings in Buffalo
Commentary in “The Public” on the article by the Gothamist “Millineals are moving to Buffalo and living like Kings.”(http://www.dailypublic.com/articles/01282015/im-living-king-who-knew)
"On the flip side, the longer I live here the more I learn about the hardships facing Buffalo natives and long-time residents who are still wary to believe the city’s on its way to becoming some type of urban utopia."
VENT Reaction:
When I saw urban and utopia together, I couldn’t help but wonder what that would look like since they have completely different associations. One being socially negative and the other referencing nothing but good things.
So, why are we urbanites wary? Here’s one: Investment skips us often, and now there’s a Northland Corridor development happening here and we have become “included,” in the negotiation process according to -Buffalo Rising-. http://buffalorising.com/2015/01/northland-corridor-reuse-project-starts-with-acquisition-of-industrial-site/
What makes you wary? #Buffalo #Urban #VENT
