Metéo̱ro Festival

In Urbem, at least once a year, there are special festivals to celebrate the meteor showers that happen overhead the city. Urbem is the only province known to celebrate the showers, as they are not considered national events. 

During these festivals, all traditional lights in the city are turned off. Instead, the streets and main plaza around Centrum Hall are minimally illuminated by various colours of neon lights. The raised stage-like park area is set up for a small concert by the top performers, and the public dress in costumes ranging from simple to elaborate and covered in metallic hues, sequins, glitter, and tulle. After the shower, a small firework show is also displayed for the citizens' enjoyment.
