        francis  isn’t  used  to  other  vampires,  but  they’re  smell  is  instantly  recognizable.  even  if  she  has  a  little  extra  something  in  there.  the  only  vampire  he  hangs  out  with  is  his  fiance.  it’s  a  little  exciting,  but  he’s  not  sure  how  to  go  about  it,  that’s  when  his  anxiety  flares  up.  what’s  he  supposed  to  say?  hey  fellow  blood  sucker?  no!  he  clicks  his  tongue,  bouncing  on  his  heels  for  a  moment,  ❝  you’re  so  tiny.  ❞  maybe  the  first  option  would  have  been  more  polite.

           by the time his back hits the wall, his mind is already working. every thought runs through a list of possibilities, retaliations, some way to get himself out of the situation. he had meant for it to be quick, to grab what he could & pocket it.t he would be gone before she even knew anything had happened... but of course, things were not that simple for fawn. they never would. there always had to be some unforeseen variable, something he hadn’t thought of; this was a great example. he still wasn’t sure what it was that had hit him, who it was that he had crossed. cognac eyes are alight with nervous energy as he freezes, waiting for another move. another reaction/ he feels his voice rise in his throat, though he knows it would be smarter to keep it locked away, “ you caught me! what now? “

        ❛   nope. not gonna happen.   ❜    socializing with anyone outside of her circle? potential dating? get-togethers? dances? she’s written it all off entirely. call her buffy the stay-indoors-unless-it’s-patrol-time summers from here on out.   ❛   i pretty much gave up on that whole normal life mumbo jumbo after i died the first time around, so no thank you.   ❜

she doesn’t know that for sure ---not really. there’s something that she feels from the other woman, however, that brings the words forth from rey’s lips. it’s a kind of uncertainty, and in the moment ------ with her life potentially on the line ------ she sees fit to use it. gaze averted, hands gripping the hilt of her lightsaber without activating it, she lets the words hang between them ---a challenge or a way out.

ʜᴜʀᴛ ᴘʀᴏᴍᴘᴛs || ᴀᴄᴄᴇᴘᴛɪɴɢ

The growl that leaves his throat is animalistic, dark eyes wild and temper barely restrained. Who do you think you are rests on the tip of his tongue but remains unspoken, a rare moment unfolding where the rage boiling through his veins is suppressed instead of acted upon. “I’m fine.” Pain laces the words despite his attempt to mask it, a gloved hand falling to his side where the bandaged wound resides. His pain serves as a constant reminder of his failure; of how he still isn’t good enough, only further fraying the thin strings keeping his temper in check. “Unless you’ve become a doctor since the last time we spoke.” His sarcastic quip slips from him before he is able to stop it, eyebrows that had previously been pinched together raising upwards ever so slightly.

ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ ᴅᴇᴠ. ǫᴜᴇsᴛɪᴏɴs || ᴀᴄᴄᴇᴘᴛɪɴɢ

1. ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴡᴏᴜʟᴅ ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟᴇᴛᴇʟʏ ʙʀᴇᴀᴋ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ?Finding out that everything he has worked for has amounted to nothing. His past was erased and no one was allowed to speak his real name, he killed his father because he believed it would free him, and in the end there is still doubt. Despite how adamant he is about letting the past die, it is always haunting him no matter how far he runs to get away from it. He has forced himself to believe that this is what he needs to do, regardless of whether or not that is true, and finding out that it not the case would result in some difficult emotions for him to process.
