An Open Letter to my Sister

Dear Ruth Please don't tell me I'm wasting my life watching Sport. I happen to enjoy watching people achieving their dreams and doing feats I never could. I love the excitement of not knowing what could happen next. I enjoy getting behind a team and cheering them on even if they can't hear me. The pride and the heartache on these people's faces are actually real. It's true humanity. You enjoy watching Grand Designs. I don't insult you for doing so. Telling you you're wasting your time or being lame for doing so. I don't seek to make you feel bad about experience joy over something I find no interest in. So please don't piss on my parade.
