U.S. Alteration: 'Americana Silhouettes Seen Through A Modern Lens'
I have a confession.... I know I write about a bunch of really dope cut & sew-esque shit on here, but the truth is I'm usually hoodied up with a pair of jeans and sneakers or boots. Don't get me wrong, I really fugg with everything I post on here, I'm just a big ass panda and I'd look hella funny wearing some of this stuff. Now that you know a bit about me you'll totally understand why I think U.S. Alteration is so tight. Hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, t-shirts, and pretty much all things cozy are good in my book, but there are certain requirements. Because I stick to a few simple silhouettes it's key that I make the most out of everything I wear and each item is capable of standing on it's own. Wearing a hoodie, jeans and sneakers/boots 24/7/365 can easily be mistaken for basic-ness, but that's hardly the case (word to Anwar Carrots). Anyways, take a look at how dope these pieces. The little overall attention to detail and little danglies are everything.
Thank you COMPLEX MAGAZINE!

Daryl's Party

EAT CRAY CLUB... NY
The next morning after the Jeremy Scott party I was in full zombie mode. All I wanted to do was eat, drink and continue to go out dancing. That was the best New York thing to do. I was feeling the bingy burn of "the city", I really can't imagine anyone being able to be poor or sober in this fine, fine, fine city. All the divinest clothing, restaurants and cocktails were levitating above my hands. Maybe this over stimulation was a good thing after all. Perhaps it allowed me to rethink and also reconfigure the way life has become in LA and what to do if I was stuck in this situation, to ponder the idea in which what point does this hedonism become a regretful overindulgent trip of tourist behavior.
I began my afternoon carbing the pain away...
before running to the SAVVYCITY party where I drowned in the science of mixology...
This lead to a tapdance at Patricia Fields where my friends at Hologram City and Dime Piece were heralding the new winter selection. It was also nice to reconnect with the HeartRevolution crew.
From one store to another I made my way to Dagny and Barstow where they were celebrating the new selection from Agni Soma who offered up exclusive prints
