So, I’ve just got finished watching and listening to the 2020 Democratic convention just now earlier which by the way I truly enjoyed, as well as I got the rest of the weeks future coverage fully ready to record & ready to watch. I feel as we continue to get much closer towards election mouths / day and what’s been going on within the news regarding the state of the U.S. Post Office being under attack also threaten cause of an so called “President” willing to blatantly, openly chat to remain in power in anyway he can...shows what risks is on the table.  Hearing former First Lady ( and still is in my book) Michelle Obama powerfully raw heartfelt but 100% truthful speech on the America were living in & the America young kids are growing up in *should* be a waking up call for a lot of people Including parents regardless of political party,  AMERICA FUTURE AS A COUNTRY IS AT HIGH MAJOR RISK IF TRUMP STAYS WITHIN OFFICE. Honestly thou if you still can’t see or open your eyes at how deeply corrupted, Incompetent, divisive, Ignorant, terrible, racist & just plan wicked Trump actually is then...I truly don’t know what else to fucking tell you or that you must be really blind to the chaos & awful state of a mess we’ve been in since this man took office.   THIS SOON TO BE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IS HISTORICAL IMPORTANT & SHOULDN'T BE SIT THROUGH LIKE OTHERS  Because this election will ultimately determine our survival as Americans and also the survival of our future as a nation. As said by Mrs. First Lady Obama herself  have said Joe Biden isn’t perfect okay who truly is really!? But as said if you don’t think things can’t get any worse then what is going on now then your  mistakenly wrong cause things can & will continue to get much worse if this man Trump stays In for another four years hell even one or two years with this A-hole within the White House America can consider itself to be *Fucked* for life, so Please if your young or a teen who just been allowed to Vote for the first time ever or anyone that truly *cares* about where we are heading down in the next couple of years...Please Vote for a hopefully better future for this country and really think about the bigger picture of what kind of nation you want this country to be remember as or to hopefully become.

Fun story behind this. When I was living in a fairly isolated town in Northwest Missouri, my exhusband worked at a hospital that had trouble keeping generalists (because it’s in the middle of NOWHERE), so they had short term rent-a-docs (real thing). One of our favourites who came several times because the money is good was this very urbanite Londoner, Daniel, who looked and sounded a lot like John Oliver. He had no experience with the US outside of New York, and was constantly fascinated by Middle American culture. He charged my ex and I to show him the sights and explain things. My ex for his love of going shooting and blacksmithing, and myself for my deep knowledge of UK culture and how to connect it. We did things like go to truckstops in the back country, grill porksteaks, drive a pickup, and go shooting (Daniel picked up the gun like it was a used tissue, shot it, and immediately put it back on the table).

Anyway, one night, we were having dinner in the one nice restaurant in town, and just as I took a sip of my drink, Daniel, who lives for talking politics, religion, and all things controversial, asked aloud, “What are ‘truck nuts’ and what are their purpose?“ After I wiped my mouth from the spittake, we attempted to explain. But how on earth do you explain this symbol of machismo?

Yup. This was the same person who, over dinner, had me explain how Trump could possibly win the election, to wit I foolishly told him it probably won’t happen, but explained extreme conservatism to him.

And that, my friends, is the story behind this picture.
