Ok so, got a special request with US! Toriel. Since I'm married to Blue, if I ever got the chance to meet her I'd be more than happy to be her friend (I could probably tell she needs one). I was kinda wondering how she'd might react to the babybones? And just kinda, being more or less friend doted on XD

If you and Blue were married in Underswap, Blue would have introduced you to Toriel early on in your relationship. In my world, Blue and UT Toriel work together at her school. In Underswap, they worked together as part of the monster government. Blue was the monster ambassador (for a while anyways) and Toriel was the queen. As soon as you and Blue started dating, he probably introduced you. Possibly before.

In any case, it would be pretty easy for you to see how lonely the queen was. She’d been alone for a long time and she’d had a lot of heartache. You were one of her first human friends. It was a bit odd for her, letting herself be doted on, but she found she enjoyed it. Every time you gave her a gift, she found a way to give one back to you.

By the time you and Blue are married, you and Toriel are fast friends. She is one of the first to suspect that you’re pregnant and she helps you find out for sure. And from then on, she is right by your side every step of the way. She takes you to appointments if Blue can’t. She organized your baby shower. She is so, so excited for you!

Sometimes you catch Toriel looking a bit melancholy, looking at your ultrasounds or little clothes or helping you put things together in the nursery. If you ask her, she’ll claim she’s just a silly old lady, getting sentimental over nothing. If you press a little, she’ll eventually admit that she misses being a mother. Chara, the fallen child, lives with Asgore, and while Toriel is welcome to visit them any time, they are not her child. She knows that your child will not be hers either, but…it has been so long since she held a baby…

She will be with you when you give birth and will probably be the one to place your child in your arms. “Congratulations,” she’ll say. “You have a such a beautiful child.” She tears up, but insists she’s fine.

Tell her that she’s free to come visit any time. Ask her for help with the baby. You’ll find her one late night in the nursery, when you’ve asked her to stay over so you and Blue can get some sleep. She’s in the rocker, holding your sleeping child, and singing softly. Your child curls their little fingers around hers and snuggles into her. When they can speak, they call her Auntie Tori. Toriel is flattered and thrilled and absolutely dotes on the child.

Underswap headcanons of mine!

Papyrus is still Sans’ little brother

Undyne still thinks anime is real

Gaster is not the riverboat person

Gaster is still lost to the void

Sans is exuberant and joyous but he believes in you for more nihilistic reasons (ie if the monsters can’t learn to get along with the humans there is no point in getting to the surface, you’ll ultimately help them if he keeps believing in you, etc.)

Papyrus really doesn’t smoke that often, only Muffet and Sans know about it (he doesn’t know that Alphys does, too)

He does, however, sometimes light lollipop sticks on fire

Alphys cares about the skelebrothers, Sans especially, but they genuinely kinda weird her out

Papyrus especially

He’s definitely hiding something

She’s constantly inventing gadgets and weapons and armor, because she still has a huge interest in science and robotics

Undyne is definitely timid, but there’s a subtle psychotic tilt to her personality

She does a lot more genetic experimentation in an attempt to make monsters stronger (not using dt anymore, for obvious reasons)

She really misses Papyrus and tries to reach out every once in a while

He comes by everyone once in a blue moon, he really doesn’t like Waterfall...

He used to spend a lot of time in the lab/have an interest in science, neither of them can remember why he left

Papyrus drinks a lot of coffee

Like

A lot

But he puts a bunch of honey in it

Sans gets mad at him for drinking so much sugar coffee

Despite the tremendous amounts of coffee he still doesn’t do much

(He pretends to sleep a lot more than he actually does)

Asgore doesn’t fight you in an effort to prove you can survive

He just begs you a bunch until he eventually lets you go

He’ll answer if you call him after that, but doesn’t say much

Toriel is way harder to beat than Asgore

She totally spiraled waaaay worse

Sans secretly keeps a little notebook of his favorite jokes from Papyrus

Annoying cat

In a genocide run, Papyrus still won’t kill you

He is nearly impossible to beat, more so than Sans

He basically forces you to reset

He doesn’t believe in you, but he believes in Sans

And he still just can’t bring himself to kill

Alphys gives Sans baking lessons, they’re still both terrible at it

He actually already knows how to cook

Alphys maintains a bit more of an attitude about you for a little while, even after you’re friends

Idk I can’t think of anymore right now but I might add more later!

Edit:

Papyrus can play anything with strings but prefers bass

Sans plays the trumpet (because he didn’t want to encourage any of his brothers “terrible” jokes)

Alphys thinks anime is real

Undyne asked for Alphys’ help to build Napstabot, so she knows the truth

Toriel still bakes, and offers you pie instead of tea

The Temmie-Flowey thing still feels off to me but I can’t think of something better lol

Edit:

Toriel is much colder to you initially, and tries to talk less, but she slips up enough that you can tell how much she doesn’t want to do this

Been toying with the idea that Frisk’s ghost possesses a Temmie plush and wreaks UT Flowey-esque havoc with their ability to save and reset, while Asriel’s soul can still only persist as Flowey, except he only shows up if performing a genocide run like UT Chara

Sans still reads to Papyrus except he’s the ones who gets cranky if Papyrus doesn’t let him. It’s for educational purposes. Obviously.

Asgore never leaves you alone in the Ruins since he only makes tea, so he makes silly dad commentary throughout most of it.

Alphys suspects that Sans would make an excellent guard, but won’t make him one until he starts taking it seriously. (And bc of his stats)

He won’t.

Napstabot is a scaredy-cat.

Alphys has trust issues, but views them as a weakness and tries very much to be less suspicious.
