So I'm heading to the US for a two week visit on Monday. Now, originally, my plan was to bring the stroller with because the baby is heavy. My husband has pointed out that gate checking it would be a pain in the ass, and we have a tight connection in Phoenix where we may lose it. This is true.
But his solution of just bringing the baby carrier won't work because the baby is tall, and I don't want to be carrying a nearly 10kg baby everywhere. Because I know my husband is going to not do a lot of carrying.
I'm honestly thinking of bringing the stroller anyway, our luggage probably isn't making the connection in Phoenix, so the stroller can just get delivered with the luggage the next day.
Or I can rent I've y. With the downside of no food allowed in the rental stroller.
I'm leaning toward bringing the spare stroller, not the good one (both are hand me downs from my sister in law, this one just doesn't have a good rain cover), and figuring it out from there if it doesn't make it.
Because we're going to be doing a lot of waking in Seattle.
I also need to buy traveler health insurance. Just in case.
So excited though, so much food I've missed! It'll be wonderful.
