I listened to this at work today, and the guest for about 45 minutes was MIT Professor Noam Chomsky, who is sharp and clear as ever. If you can't get down with fat volumes of current political discourse, or if you'd like an entry point to understanding what is happening besides the USA as the beacon for all humanity, then this commentary on Obama and Syria gives way to a concise primer for understanding the USA in an international context from the last century to this one. He just lays it out. This is a brick of real history I never learned in school, and it's pretty indisputable. Worth the listen.
