Uncharted Experiences
@usagienforcer // Stardrifting time
A purplish blue, the color of the oceans that engulfed this entire planet. The Stargazer, its crew, the ship itself remained in orbit over this purple hewed planet. An ocean world, a rather large one at that as well, but one that didn’t show signs of previous massive life or ruins, no calamity or apocalypse.
Instead this planet was, very much untouched save for its odd purple hew and its raging high seas. Almost no land mass, ill suited for Tlan colonial survey, and hardly suited for any of the other 3 primitive planets that the Tlan had found since their foray into space.
But there was something to note, sticking from the oceans, a high tower of sorts. Hints at further ruins further below, yet the tower had no place to truly land a proper shuttle.
The stormy seas also a barrier, almost enough for the Stargazer and its crew to move along, leaving this planet to another more well specialized crew. At least, that would of been the case if not for an unusually out of season change, a large birth of clear skies and calm waters prompted a this meeting.
There was no room for a shuttle as mentioned, but a small group, a few pairs could be sent down to explore. There were three entrances to this tower, and each could be dropped off at separate ones, then picked up before the storm rolled in.
Two pairs were quick to be picked, the usual pairs sent on very dig, but still they needed a third. The usual third and back up picks had their hands full with a slime creature they found while surveying the last dig. Luckily, it never got anyone on the head, creepy little brain slugs. But they had their hands full, thus the captain was given the unfortunate task of having to not only seek a volunteer, but to voluntell someone, they were going in.
Walking through the group they had to weigh all sorts of risks, this was a dangerous job and everyone knew it, every researcher knew it. But not every one had had a chance to practice it first hand, the wonders and dangers of this job. That is why, the captain stopped in front of the blue haired Vella and placed a hand on her shoulder.
“Vella my girl.” The older man spoke in a soft voice, not one to be too soft or too stern, never mean but never easy on the crew.
“I’ll be needing you to pack and be ready for this.”
Once he had said that, the captain started to look around for someone else to pick.

"Yeah, the catgirl doesn't need to be shy, I've seen weirder stuff on the internet." the Wizard scratched her head a bit, but mostly to look relatable. She found that girl's accent funny at least, so that helped her relax in a way when talking to her.
"Well... hum... why do I have the feeling you are just going to look confused if I say Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan? And also hum... Agency? Please tell me you don't have to murder me if you say what that is."
Revolutionary Days
0630 HOURS MST, KOFA WILDLIFE REFUGE, ARIZONA.
Set up on a hill about 40 kilometers northeast from the Yuma Proving Grounds, the revolutionary base was abuzz with activity. Scouts had just returned with news of the loyalist force setting up entrenchments on a position on the opposite side of the great open space of scrublands. The command tent was in similar activity, the three generals present discussing tactics over a map while aides scattered to and fro and papers and camp coffee.
Helena, already sensibly buzzed for the morning, was actively shooting holes in a foolish plan to simply charge right across the field like Crusader tanks in North Africa. “Well sure dis plan is all well n’ good bit what are we gun ta do if dey have feckin’ TOWs? Whit’ all dis extra armor n’ ERA youse got fer me Cherchills der still ain’t much we kin do if’n dey has woire-goided rockits dey kin just pop roight ‘tru me buttons! Ai’d kill fer a feckin’ Conk ai would.” The other two simply nodded in agreement, not really expecting much of the idea at any rate. It was a bouncing board to devise actual plausible ideas.
“Helena’s right, Lin. Even with the new Chi-Ri tanks you acquired from that depot back in Tuscon, we don’t really have gunnery capable enough to suppress infanterie anti-tank from across the battlefield like this, and the two self-propelled artillery batteries we have are currently supporting Madeleine and Natalie on the rearguard. I think a pincer would be a better approach. If I take-” Gena was interrupted by a man in flecktarn stepping into the tent and saluting her directly.
“Frau Generalfeldmarschall, there is a guest here to see you.” The fairly short German woman smiled, nodding to the salute.
“Ah! The asset has arrived. ‘Lena, we may have a solution for those raketen yet. Please, Lars, send her in.” The man saluted again and stepped out, holding the tent flap open for this mystery asset.

We’re Not Alone
@usagienforcer // A silly girl followed a demon into a magical land
It had been a few hours since their departure, since Fubuki had said her peace and had decided to follow Nobunaga. A small trip by foot before they’d be walking into a forest, and with a wave of her hand, a rip of something in front of them with Nobunaga walking through.
“Don’t take long now, It doesn’t stay open long, and there’s no second chance.” Nobu smiled, beckoning Fubuki to take her hand.
“Strange, isn’t it? Taking a step into a place of magic and monsters, when you’ve been trying to take steps into a human world for so long?” Once Fubuki took her hand, Nobu would bring her forward, side by side as they overlooked what felt like somewhat of a rural village. In the distance it seemed, old like the stuff Nobu and Fubuki were used to. It was a little more, modern in terms of what was used to build but it was still dated.
In the distance, shrines, mountains, even a mansion of sorts, a lot to take in within the first few minutes.

“Yeah,” Himari eventually said. “Yeah, it is a lot to take in. Both here and — well, once I realised I ain’t getting home by just retracing my steps, I—eep!” Her back went rigid as she felt somebody touching her tail. Fortunately, the sound of good-nature’s humming met her ears rather than something nefarious. She relaxed, but only slightly.
“Water–water would be great,” she said with a flustered voice, distracted by attempting to look back and see who was touching her tail, all while trying to keep her hand in Miko’s. Himari wasn’t having much success, only barely able to see somebody behind her. “I’m usually one for hot choco,” Himari continues regardless. “Maybe not right now for that–there’s someone back there.” In Himari’s surprised reaction to her tail being caressed, her newfound friend being called the crown prince had entirely slipped a mind going a mile a minute.
“Then.” Miko motioned to a passing male, beckoning them over as they lavished Miko with praise and good tidings. “Water please, our newest guest is a little dazed and needs something to refresh.” Talking kindly the male seemed, unsure about Himari at first, but soon rushed off.
“There’s no direct path to home, but if you can help me trace your steps. I’ll get you there. And Kokoro, play nice.” Miko added, looking to Himari’s side to see the pink haired girl circled around with tails all over her head.
“Sorry.. you looked so soft. Kokoro had to see if the tails were real.” The small girl came right to Himari’s front and looked upwards at her. No bigger than a small kid she gazed up with hopeful curiosity, all projected by a rather hollow gaze. “I’m. Kokoro... you are soft!”
Soudas, the End of a Journey
@usagienforcer // Redbellion Starter
As the vote in the Assembly continued, the unknown location of the combined fleets power had still yet to be determined. And now hovering over Soudas, a beastly device ready to break the defenders.
Planetary shields rose up and from them, batteries and ships dove in and out of the shielding to attack the Colossus, the world cracker used by the Directive. The people of Soudas launching a special mission, their fleet forcing out of the shield, breaking the way for a small ship to slip through.
Over the pristine skies of Soudas, the people watched in fear as their chosen few fought valiantly against all odds to break the siege. The small ship making it long the colossus hangers, ships pelting the hanger bays as Soudas special forces dove inside, guns roaring against the metal defenders.
The strike was perfect, the team forcing their way through, the reports making more and more ground, the metal enemies dropping one by one as they neared the reactor.
The battle for Soudas underway, this would be where Helen would be sent to, pulled from one location, the hostess of the lodge telling her its time. She would be apart of this battle, listening in.
So why was it, when all was so perfect, silence came over all the communications, just as the charges were set. Something was wrong, and the people of Soudas were holding their breath, holding their tongues for their hero, Heles to save them.
But this Heles, wouldn’t speak a word. Forcing a scramble for someone, anyone to get inside! the only one capable of it, would be Helen.
But inside what she would meet, laying against the wall, multiple wounds through her body, red streaking down the wall behind her as she slid down, was this Heles. Holding a detonator in her hand, as another stood over her, reaching down, a charge in her hand, reaching for the detonator.
The other, was Envy. The android turning, revealing the truth face of Heles as well. Envy, Heles, and Helen, three girls from three places, all of them.
The same face.
“Tch!” Turning, Envy ran with the charge but not the detonator, leaving the dying Heles before Helen.
The powerful laser of the colossus charging as Envy ran towards its core reactor.
-
Heles laid there, left, yet even if Helen came to her, the girl would not drop her detonator. She would look the other in her eyes, seeing herself and simply beg her, “Stop.. her! You.. . you have to stop her from removing another charge..they.. need to know we did it.”
Even if the colossus was destroyed the people needed someone to rally forward. Heles squeezed the detonator tightly, “Stop her... and blow it up....you...who..”
As if waiting to hear the name of this stranger, before this heroic woman named Heles, would pass away.
