Ayako || Rules || Verses || Kubo's RP Directory
"are you hiding the secred bones at the graveyard Ayakoooo"
"Why would I even do such a thing, I don't like walking around with bones of all things!"
With each venture into a Lost Belt, Tessa feels that a part of her is inevitably lost in the process. The rejections that piled up with the lives within it left her feeling hollow. Brittle. Like part of her soul seemed to break apart in the process. What little solace knowing that those of her Mage Association still remained had long worn off, dark-crescents beneath her eyes far more pronounced and complexion much more pallid than usual.
Drifting within the haze of her listless thoughts, it is the quiet voice of a familiar companion that drags her out of sinking into that mire.
"--Miss Ayako?"
Willing her troubled expression to rapidly return to its usual calm before she turns to properly face her, Tessa quietly looked her over and offered a tired, faint smile.
"Your adjustments have been very helpful, thank you. Without everyone's help, including yours--I would not be able to make it back from my ventures into the Lostbelts."
As she shifted her weight from one leg to the other, she could have sworn she heard a crack. Her imagination, probably. Over self-awareness in having likened herself to glass.
"Did you need something from me?"
She wanted to be happy to hear that, to hear that her efforts were helping the person most important to humanity right now. No, it was a bit different from that.
Barely noticing Tessa's suffering, Ayako fidgeted around nervously.
"I really am happy to hear that they're being useful to you. I couldn't really ask you for anything else... if anything...." her gaze leans to the side. "I'm the one who's trying to be useful to you, you know? Not even for humanity or anything... just like... if I can put all my efforts into saving at least one person..."

For how long has Ayako looked at this Bleached Earth? The amount of time seemed as long as the infinite spread of white outside the Storm Border.
At first things had been so hectic, as the intern had to learn how to adapt to this new "workplace". It was a marvelous technical marvel considering it was only possible with the use of divine tech from the Fifth Lostbelt and Sion's Servant. It seemed so beyond Ayako's human capabilities to understand at first, but she was trying to make her best to keep up so she could help the alchemist and the rest of the staff.
But the person that Ayako kept on her mind for a lot of the time was Miss Ardere, the Master that seemed to be going on longer and longer missions as the quest to restore the PHH kept going.
"Hey..." she tried to be casual, to not be too shy for once, "I hope my adjustments to your Mystic Codes were useful..." she made small talk, trying to scan the Master on her condition. Hopefully she hadn't gotten too hurt from the most recent outing.

Hello all, Kaerene here and back on her bullshit this multimuse after quite a few years!
Got muses hailing from Arknights, HSR, JJK, Nikke, Path to Nowhere, SMT, TBHX, Tougen Anki, Tribe Nine, Uma Musume, WuWa, and quite a few others, but for now: Could you kindly reblog this little promo if you're interested in writing with my muses? I'd really appreciate it!
Give her attention.
Komachi was trying really hard to focus while objects in her vision seemed to duplicate and moved as she moved. She was happy enough to find Ayako willing to come visit. It might have been forever since they last met but whos keeping count right?
"Its only beeeen..." Shes looking at her nonexistent watch on her wrist before her gaze fumbles along the wall to look for her clock. "uhhh... Its only been a few hours since i started partying!" "Why are you asking huh? Its just barely started Ayakie!!"
Was Komachi always this much of an airhead? But even so it made Ayako smile somehow. Maybe she didn't need to be so hard on herself? But still, she felt like she needed to compensate the other.
"Good grief..." she needed to meet her where she was at, and so Ayako laid her arm on the table, her hand half open in expectation. "Pour me one, Koma-chan."
"Soooo? Its not like its gonnnaa kill me, Ayakie!" Komachi would lift up the small gal, holding her in her arms as she simply put them inside the shinigami's home. "What for? Whattt could you be sorry for? For not coming sooner?... Its fine, its all fine!"
Komachi raised a cup in her other hand. "There's plenty of snacks.. and alcohol. Plenty for you and... well, I guess me.. really! haha!"
Her hair, a bit longer than before, flutters in the air as Komachi takes the young woman away in her arms. She lets herself be taken without a sound, only with a red on her face she hadn't experienced in a while.
She gets put down, finally finding herself inside the reaper's house, already being offered all sorts of stuff.
To this she struggled to respond to. Well, she did yearn for that attention, but she wasn't really feeling deserving of it.
"Do you even know how long it has been?" it had to have been at least two years since they had last seen each other, and even so Koma-chan was acting like it had been yesterday.
Maybe I should create a new character if I want to come back to doing stuff here. People must be tired of my old chars.

// oh my god guys I am so fucking old now. When I created Ayako I made her to be around my age.
// but now I am basically the age of her "10 years later" verse

Komachi heard a noise at the door, a nice cup of sake in hand. Her cheeks glowing red from the copious amounts of sake she had consumed. "One minnutee!! I'm commingggg~!" She yelled out, fumbling in her steps as she made it to the door... barely. Another sip of the sake as her hand reached for the doorknob to open it. A surprise lit up in her eyes as she screamed loudly. "Ayakie!!!" Woop. It may have been forever, but Komachi hadn't forgotten her.
Her arms lunged out to grab the adorable gal to pull her close for a hug, sake spilling out of the lip despite being half drunk. "You came!! Howss are you? Its been forever, where have you been??"
It wasn't long until Ayako felt herself overtaken by the drunk reaper, immediately noticing the smell of alcohol.
"So you really were drinking when you sent that." she said, in a slightly judging tone, but even so, her arms wrapped around Komachi. "I'm sorry, I really am..." she wasn't sure what she was apologizing for, but she felt like she needed to.
@geisthonoredferry
It had indeed been a while since Ayako had visited the reaper. She had been so embroiled in her own life and projects she was feeling more disconnected than ever from her friends.
But receiving that one message made her heart pang for a second. Even if it seemed obvious Komachi was had something to drink before it. Despite that, Ayako felt like taking the plunge, and found herself knocking at the old reaper's door. "It has probably been years..." she thought to herself as she waited.
"Uh, no? I never even knew there were other Digimon that'd made it here. I mean, all she does is do these weird things and show people her chest and stuff. Humans are weird."
Pteromon, for its part, didn't really seem to understand what Leslie did for a living. Though, he also seemed ignorant of the fact there were other Digimon in the world at large, anyhow. Really, he seemed rather content with things...But, it didn't stop him from looking at Lopmon funny every so often.
On the bright side, he seemed content to just...Stare, even as Leslie came back with an armful of water bottles. The packaging looked like generic store-brand bottling, but Leslie didn't seem bothered by it as she set the bottles down on the coffee table and claimed one to open herself...While Pteromon tossed an apple core into the trash can with the grace of a drunken swan.
...She couldn't help but sigh at that. Pteromon was not a crack shot with his throwing skills.
"I'm sorry I took so long; I wanted to make sure we had enough water...Anyway, to answer your earlier question? I don't really know that much about these Digimon. Pteromon was talking about being made of data, and how he comes from a place chock full of guys like him, but...That's all I know, really. You know more about them, right Ayako?"
...The question was...Where should she start with the questions? She had more than a few that she wanted to ask, but no set direction to start asking the questions in, yet.
At least they seemed to be able to live peacefully so far. She did feel a bit jealous about that. But at the same time, all that had happened before had served to strengthen their bond.
"Showing her chest?" it was over, Lopmon was going to be naturally curious about that. "Is it that interesting?"
That had Ayako's face become red, trying to get Lopmon to not mention that before the woman in question came back, with the opportunity to change topic.
"Oh, yeah. A little bit I mean…. ok maybe not that much, but we've had some run-ins before with other Digimon, most of them being strays."
She holds Lopmon on her arms, trying to show Leslie how familiar she was with the little one already.
"What I mean by that is that, from what I can see, the Digital Monsters that cross into this world sometimes have this tendency to… imprint on certain individuals, and create some kind of people, for lack of a better word. It's hard to explain, and I don't want you to think I'm superstitious or something, but what I have here with Lopmon seems… fated, destined even. Some of the digimon I find sometimes seems like they haven't found their partner yet, but others might just be strays. Regardless, the fact is sometimes some can be quite… feral. Like, you understand that, if a digimon bigger than these two here was just roaming around in the city, it could end up dangerous for everyone, right?"
