Release of EdgeWise MEP

With the 2012 lineup of Revit suites point cloud data was finally able to be imported into the Revit family of applications, however there were still limiting factors such as importing converted 3D data and have it inherit the intelligence we’ve all come to rely on with Revit objects. With EdgeWise MEP for Revit we now have the ability to import both automated and manually generated 3D objects gathered from scanned data in EdgeWise MEP, along with the intelligence of that data that your clients need for their BIM modeling reducing the time spent on modeling.

Official release of EdgeWise MEP for Revit is not scheduled until the end of this month, however there have been rumors of users being able to get a release copy earlier if they contact Clear Edge 3D. Read more at the Clearedge3D website.
