so at work our set up is like a coffee machine with a register about five feet away and, despite the fact people are lined up to order, people still come up to the coffee machine to try and order their coffee I had to say 'okay cool, just go over to the till to place your order and I'll make it for you' and like at least half the people groan and roll their eyes. wtf do you think I have a register hidden underneath the machine to take your money? do you think you get a free coffee? or you think I got a memory like a mf, I have dockets of orders about 7000 coffees that fill up my whole bench and u think I'm gonna remember your order? what the fuck is wrong with people.

Yeah, I am mentally disabled and take all my meds as prescribed and am clean and sober for four years straight. So I actually do recognize when anybody is gaslighting me. You would like me to act four years old?

Do parents really think about the things that they say? Because a lot of it does not make sense. For example: You acted better when you were four years old. Ok, well, when I was four years old I was illiterate, couldn’t bath myself, couldn’t take myself anywhere, couldn’t be left alone, and couldn’t have an intelligent conversation. But of course, I acted better. Parents want children to be self sufficient and yet they have nostalgia for the days when the child could do little for themselves. Instead, they wish to live in a time where their children did everything they said (not that all four year olds do that, I know). So basically, parents wish to go back to the days when they had tyrannical rule over an ignorant human being who knew no better. That’s foolish. So, since they seem so reminiscent about the four year old days, maybe I should just act like my four year old self and see how they like it?
