I have been told more than once that my approach could use some improvement. The struggle wasn't with what I had to say, but how I said it. This is something I still work on every day. I do my best to be intentional about not only the what, but the how of every conversation as well. Since I have taken on kindness as my number one value and the core of everything I do, all of my conversations have changed. That is not to say that I don't lose my temper or get wrapped up in the heat of a frenzied moment and say things that are hurtful. I do. But I am working on it.

Kind words are like honey? Do you agree? Of course you do. Kind words are like honey in that they help us grow, they make us happy, and they can bring peace to a community. The old angry rhetoric is painful and simply causes too much strife in our world. Grandma always said, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all".
