I just sent these to my sister for her birthday I may have overestimated my ability to not suck at kindergarten arts and crafts, but there’s a cute dog, so I feel like it kinda balances out? (yes, Pistol is 5,000% done with my shit. and she doesn’t like hats very much, so outside both shots, I am holding it in the vague vicinity of her head, rather than putting it on her for real.)

Sirius Black (POA 212; OOTP 644, 806 — though to be fair, this is, “Harry saw the look of mingled fear and surprise on his godfather’s wasted, once-handsome face” [emphasis mine].

But then, that just raises the question of, “Harry, why on earth are you thinking about how handsome Sirius was while he’s literally dying?”

Also: DH 179, 699 — and that’s his ghost, in the second, so? idk, Behold Sirius Black: the man so handsomely handsome that even the anthropomorphic concept Death is like, “well, goddamn”?

Additionally, on DH 187, we get this note about Regulus: “He had the same dark hair and slightly haughty look of his brother, though he was smaller, slighter, and rather less handsome than Sirius had been.”

—because it is totally necessary, while describing Regulus, to remind the reader that Sirius is handsome. Like, just in case you forgot, here comes Harry, reminding you that his godfather was a major hottie.

As for Regulus himself, I’m not sure whether to count him or not, since Harry doesn’t explicitly describe him as not handsome, just less handsome than Sirius — but lbr, that description seems to apply to literally everyone who has ever lived, in Harry’s mind, so it’s not really that same as saying that Regulus is unfortunate-looking? and idk what to make of it, so here we are.)

Tom Riddle, Sr. (HBP 211)

Tom Marvolo “Dark Lord, Heir of Slytherin, Voldemort” Riddle (HBP 269, 354, 369, 434, 499 — and on page 441, Harry makes a point of noting that he’s not looking handsome anymore.

Likewise, when he and Ron are taking on the locket Horcrux on DH 375, Harry, for no apparent reason, makes note of how Tom’s eyes used to be handsome: “the golden doors of the locket swung wide open with a little click. / Behind both of the glass windows within blinked a living eye, dark and handsome as Tom Riddle’s eyes had been before he turned them scarlet and slit-pupiled.”

Because… yeah, totally. I mean, I know that, when I’ve just drowned and am fighting against some evil, semi-sentient necklace containing a fragment of the soul of the man who’s spent literally my entire life trying to kill me, the first thing I would think about, when confronted with living eyes inside of said soul-jar? is how smoking hot my nemesis was when he was my age.)

I mean, I’m not saying that Harry is definitely, for sure bisexual, because he isn’t explicitly said to be, and we are not giving out cookies as a reward for subtext. (*pointedly looks at JKR, while holding up a picture of Albus Dumbledore*)

I’m just saying that, if Harry’s going to go on about dudes being hot as often as he does about Cho and Ginny — y’know, his actual canonical love interests — then I’m going to headcanon him as bisexual, and if JKR wants to stop me, then she can either come over here and pry bi!Harry from my cold dead hands, or pay off my student loans and truthfully answer thirteen burning questions that I have for her.
