her eyes are like stars in the way that they are always hungry. pulling every sad little rock they can into their orbit, shining on them until they burn, until they glow, until they are conquered. every bone in your body aches to revolve around her. she laughs and your feet move in circles, in tandem with all the feckless others she's devoured. such light in her, kiss power from her skin like it'll protect you. your walls are dust beneath bare toes, painted, curling in pleasure. your skin is all fire, all smoke. her mouth feels luscious, righteous as it caresses all the humdrum syllables of your name. she claws holes into your heart with claws like holy weapons, leaves you open and bereft and alone. you eat her hunger until you're starving, until she plays your ribs like ivory keys. you miss her and she laughs. someone somewhere once told you white meant good magic, light meant holy, but she is sparking and fire and death incarnate and she fills you with teeth and broken things and her voice is a kiss against skin held taut and she leaves and she leaves and she leaves and she leaves and she leaves and she leaves and she leaves and it is a wretched divinity. it is blasphemous ceremony. and you swallow it, dirty ichor, tainted ambrosia— it tastes like shame. like defeat. like being hungry.
