types of boys
Saltwater boys: soft hair and flip flops in the sand. loud laughter reminiscent of fire. piggyback rides, soda coolers, and milkshakes. values friendship above all things. lays on the roof, staring at the sky
Paintbrush boys: ripped jeans and running their fingers through your hair. the type to play a game on their phone because they likes how it’s designed. long walks and mismatched socks. jokes about the earth being flat. long walks while holding your hand.
Citrus boys: hands jammed into the pockets of an oversized hoodie. tea first thing in the morning. high top sneakers and rocks lining the windowsill. runs on the concrete with no shoes on.
Pied Piper boys: the first thing you notice about them is their voice and the way their smile spreads through the crowd like an unforgettable disease. wears a watch and always seem to have a notebook on them. people are drawn to them and it energizes them.
Typewriter boys: eyes like daggers, and a soul like the sun. texts at three a.m. this reminded me of you. handwritten letters and chapstick. messy hair and private smiles. says the stars are overrated but it’s only because he secretly thinks you’re more beautiful than they could ever be.
Hailstorm boys: heavy boots and black t-shirts. likes reading scientific articles to show off knowledge of obscure topics. that crooked book character smirk-slash-grin. eyes full of intensity in a way that you can never be sure if it’s good or bad
