their first apartment is a tiny flat because hermione granger refuses to let pansy pay more than half the rent and that’s all they can afford, so she sets out to get pay back by making it the most lavish hole in the wall in some run-down neighborhood and hermione’s afraid to touch half the things for fear of breaking them
hermione granger one day breaks down and buys like. three cats. and then panics because oh shit pansy’s gonna be so mad they’ll, like, pee on our couch that costs more than i do, except pansy doesn’t, she names them pretentious things, as pureblood culture dictates for their children, and falls in love with them before hermione can come up with a single excuse about why she bought them
pansy parkinson, growing up as a wealthy witch, learned to draw (along with other “feminine” activities, bc she comes from a very… traditional family), and though she doesn’t think she’s v good at it (that’s a lie), she always finds herself drawing hermione. hermione frames every single doodle and hangs them on the wall or the fridge, depending on where there’s space. being just. casually supportive of pansy and her hobbies
double dates w luna and ginny. pansy gets attached to luna’s honesty (being blunt when she so desires herself) and they end up being really good friends
hermione says i love you first, after working on a case until like four the past day and then up until two the next so she hasn’t really slept and what she really means is “thank you for the coffee” but her thank you ends up being “i love you” instead and pansy doesn’t stop smiling for like. a full 24 hours
they’re pretty much married about 3 years before theyre married tbh. theyre really gross and they love each other and know each other and theyre always bickering but they also like. go out of their way to accommodate each other like hermione’ll walk an extra mile out of her way to get pansy her favorite starbucks drink or pansy will get and learn how to use a muggle cell phone just because hermione said passively, once, how much easier it would be
when they do get married, pansy proposes. hermione’s always too afraid and she wants everything to be perfect so she takes waaaay too long and pansy wants to be proposed to, because, y’know, but eventually she does it herself and she knows exactly when and with what ring (simple), except she’s terrible at proposing and hermione starts crying and pansy starts bawling and it’s a flourish and botts and @ginnys is the one w this headcanon but i love it sm sooooo….
they adopt. pansy grew up w this whole like “must continue the parkinson line w a pureblood wizard” and so she feels, tainted, almost? like, she wants her kids to be more than “the end of the pureblood parkinson line” and so when hermione suggests adopting bc hermione isn’t ? really interested in being pregnant she wants kids but she’s got things to do pansy jumps on it and so they adopt.
pansy doesn’t change, exactly, much. she’s gotten over the bigotry she was raised with, but her personality doesn’t change? but with hermione, even if she has mean things to say, they’re said with a certain softness to let hermione know she doesn’t mean it
