alright it’s time for my obligatory sappy christmas appreciation post. forgive me for not making a festive gif for your viewing pleasure.
2018 was one of the hardest years of my life. I won’t get too much into it, but this community– these friendships– pulled me out of a very, very dark place. you guys are my light. I will never be able to express to you all how much you mean to me. you guys deserve all the happiness in the world.
to my wife, @tory-b, I honest to god cannot fathom my life without you in it at this point. to say you know me would be an understatement. you know things about me that never before saw the light of day. you’ve been there every step of the way during my very real quarter life crisis. you reassure me everything’s okay. you’re my biggest cheerleader. tori, I swear to god we may not be actually married, but you’re never getting rid of me. not even with the best lawyer money can buy.
on to my forever fave, @bugggghead. katie. katie. where do I start? you are someone I’d quite literally trust with my life. I know I can tell you anything and you’ll be there with an open mind and an open heart. you’ve talked me out of some of my worst moods, helped me through some very real shit, and you’re always there to scream with me over literally anything. my love for you knows no bounds. I’m serious, anyone who has the privilege of knowing you is better for it. I know I am.
then we got @deanorus, a gem of a human. jj, I’m so fuckin glad we’ve gotten closer recently. it’s rare that you meet someone who just gets it, but you definitely do. you put up with my endless screaming over criminal minds, my constant photoshop questions, and really just my nonstop presence in your messages. honestly, someone needs to get you a medal. I know I can basically tell you anything and you’ll just roll with it and I cannot tell you how grateful I am for that. seriously, you’re a rockstar.
to my wigless crew, @chuckclayton, @varchies, @inthemoodforchaos, @veronicadvalle, @mayamccall, and @nicomlnoru, I love you all. you guys literally light up my life with your hilarity and I know I can also come to you with deep shit and you won’t even bat an eyelash. we’ve talked about basically everything at this point, and it’s never weird. you guys mean so damn much to me. I’m so happy to call you all friends.

there are so many more of you who have shaped my life over this past year, I couldn’t even begin to name you all, so forgive me if I’ve forgotten anyone. please know even if I haven’t mentioned you here, I still love you. I’m a ball of emotions and I’m pretty sure I’m still slightly impaired from all the benadryl I’ve been taking.
