First, your "Current Threads" page lists Rumors as an open thread, but when you click on it, the post the link goes to says it's closed. Might want to update that.
Second, do you have any information on Userworld Abraxas?
[Hello! Just went and updated it, but the 'current threads' page was over eight years old LOL. Understand this is a very old blog. None of the people I used to play with are active anymore, so I essentially have no current threads rn. Userworld Abraxas! I will write this fic eventually, but in essence - After the events of Legacy, Sam is trying to take care of the Grid / clean up the system and he finds a Virus hidden in the mess of code. Abraxas is still alive after the events of Evolution, and he's just been in hiding in the ruins of the Bostrum colony, and with Clu dead he's really just been chilling. Sam is just going to delete the virus, but Quorra recognizes it as Abraxas; as the Virus that used to be her ISO friend Jalen, and convinces Sam to bring him to the User world thinking the transition to the new world will repair him and she won't be the last ISO anymore. Jalen was one of the first ISOs to emerge from the Sea, and he was a leader to his people, so obviously they wouldn't want to just destroy him. Virus or not, he WAS that ISO, and Quorra is desperate to not be the last one. Long story short it doesn’t work that way, and there's no magical happy ending for him - despite no longer being a computer virus, his mental state doesn’t change. If anything it gets worse, stripped of his power and dragged into an unfamiliar world. He's mentally a huge mess, he's pissed he got dragged to the user's world without his consent, and he's got a lot of trauma really no one is helping him work through. And he's just angry! Q is incredibly optimistic and she kinda expected him to just... zap into the user world and be all Better. But he's been subjected to too much, been alone in the ruins of Bostrum for too long, and he needs help. He's mean, he hates everyone, and since he no longer has the power to push people around, he’s as hostile as possible with everyone until they leave him be. Sam can’t even remotely handle him - Quorra eventually ends up taking care of him since it was her idea to bring in there in the first place. He moderately tolerates her simply by virtue of the fact she refuses to go away. He self harms and generally engages in a lot of self-destructive behaviors, like putting himself in dangerous situations just to see what happens. He likes to do like.. urban exploring, except it's climbing bridges and tall buildings without any safety equipment lol. And y'know if he falls, whatever. Q hates this. The physical damage to his disc also carried over as weird neurological issues, he has seizures and is basically brain damaged. He gets overwhelmed by too much stimuli in crowded places. Luckily for everyone involved he's really just destructive toward himself, he doesn't get violent with other people. Mostly because everyone in this world is a User and he wasn't programmed to go after users. He's supposed to infected programs, ISOs. He's really just a sad little guy, finds very little happiness in the real world, and Quorra keeps hoping he'll wake up one day and be Jalen again, and it's just not going to happen. That really frustrates him, because to him Jalen is dead and she's trying to save someone that no longer exists, and she's not seeing HIM. Abraxas. She's only seeing what he used to be, and that really strains their relationship. Eventually I have it in my head he tries to kill himself and Sam finally just... realizes they were stupid and puts him back in the system. He'd been begging them to go back for ages and they'd ignored him because it was 'for his own good' but like... was it? or was it just because Q didn't want to be alone? I have a lot of feelings about him... ]
