NaNoWriMo Day Three
Word Count For Today: not too sure because I’m working in Google docs and don’t have access to the nano site. Some where around 1,800 I think…
Anyway I’m on to the final quarter of the prologue! I’ve written the sections for Lilith and Ishfaq, and Ushma, and I’ve started the section for Najwa and Barakah.
Here’s a quote from today!
For those in Flauve who had been born of the fae but who had been abandoned by their parents there were two choices; join a Guild and be trained to serve the community, or be exiled to the wild, doomed to become a wraith. Ushma however, had decided on a third choice: she would teach herself. She’d stolen books from the Guild libraries, hunted down a secret spot in the midst of the Guild quarter where she could train her magic without being discovered, and had set to work, training and practising for hours and hours every day – starting off with meditation as was advised in the diaries of the elders, to allow smoother communication between a fae and their magic. That had proved…difficult.
