Playing chess I found a possible combination of movements that would end on an inescapable checkmate. For us enthusiasts of chess, when you find or see something like this, it creates a feeling of wonder, like discovering a hidden combination. No different than when combinations of letters come together to form a beautiful poem, or when mechanical parts once assembled smoothly work together as intended, or when specific keys in a piano follow one after another to create an astonishing melody. These combinations are in different places, hidden in the fabric of the universe. We don't create them, they were already there, we are simply allowed to see them, hidden quietly among a immeasurable multitude of possibilities. We are simply fortunate enough to take a peek and look at them with awe and wonder.
