I actually really missed being a live entertainment tech/hand.

I really missed the late nights, that specific purple-white you get from a bright LED spot, that first run where everyone’s running around like a headless hen trying to figure things out, the incredibly bizarre hours...I missed that.

Last night was rough, and two days ago I had a 14 hour shift where I was on my feet. But I missed it. I really missed it.

It might not be for everyone, but it’s definitely for me.
