As much as I love a good caretaker/whumpee dynamic I need more whumpees with no caretaker.

They escape or whumper dumps them off somewhere when they’re finished with them and whumpee has to figure out what to do. They have no money, no phone, very little clothing (if any), no shoes etc.

Whumpee eventually manages to make it home and has to try to recover on their own

Tending to their wounds with whatever supplies they already had. Trying to scrub blood, grime and the feeling of whumpers hand on their skin away with freezing cold water (as it’s not like the electric bill was being paid in their absence). Self soothing after a nightmare. Nailing windows shut and adding extra locks to give them a slight sense of safety. Trying to deal with the accumulation of unpaid bills. Begging for their job back. Apologising to furious friends for “ignoring” them/missing important events

And even just trying to do daily activities like cooking a meal or showering but each step is so agonising they have to fight to not pass out from the pain
