Im really starting to hate takes about trans people in sports from people who clearly just dont like sports (being trans does not make you immune to my growing resentment, a lot of the calls are coming from inside the house). Apparently trans man on the Minnesota Aurora FC is bad? If a team/league is patting themselves on the back too hard or something feel free to call em on that but any trans people in organized sports is good. Especially right now. Should things be more equitable? Absolutely, but in a perfect world we wouldnt even fucking have gendered leagues. We have had trans women in professional women's leagues before and none of the people I have seen whining about Isaac Ranson RN showed any love to women like Jessica Platt when they were playing. They were too busy going SPORTSBALL BAD!
