A few more pics of my Heckler & Koch USP Compact 40, which has evolved into more of a USP Match Compact.
There is a lot going on here, haha, way too much to say without creating a TLDR scenario.

So it is was snowing in our region, and such kept me at home long enough for my new EFK Fire Dragon Barrel to come in. It is a Match style barrel made for the H&K USP compact, and it is the last piece needed to complete my own variation on the Heckler & Koch USP Match design.
It is a USP compact .40 S&W with parts of the Match Trigger, along with a much lighter spring. There is also a 3d printed spacer on the spring to give it the exact tension desired.
It has a Match style weight on the front, thanks to IMM holdings.

It essentially has the H&K USP variation 1 trigger. Yes, we swapped a few springs out with other trigger variations. For those who don’t remember or know what H&K USP v1 is, this means it has double action, single action, safety, and decocker all on the left side. The design is modular, so USP models vary on the spectrum from everything ambidextrous to double action only with no controls exposed. I opted to leave the bobbed hammer, so it can quickly be made compact again. Unless anyone things I should install the other hammer I have on hand?
It also has custom sights that I designed and fabricated myself by my own tastes with a 3d Printer (and without bragging, I have to say they are fantastic) The other guy that test shot the pistol today was also able to expedite target successive acquisition due to the narrowing walls built into this glowing sights. We have been experimenting with new nylon materials, and it’s crazy how durable these sights actually are. One can mangle them with plyers if you try hard, but it requires a press with a special made tool to get them in and out. They are plenty durable to function as they need to, and even take the beating I've given them.
TLDR: If you are considering turning your H&K pistol into a Match, do it. DO IT! The recoil is minimal and nowhere near that of a typical 40. It is amazing. Absolutely amazing.
