This is the first shoot I took as I approached The USS Midway. It is a remarkably large ship. The scale becomes more impressive once you enter the ship properly going up deck by deck. Aircraft are positioned everywhere on it. You find yourself thinking of the technology and thinking behind such a mechanized marvel as an aircraft carrier. I only witness less than half of the spaces on this feat of aquatic engineering. It was an extraordinary pleasure to be dwarfed by this grand elaborately and detailed machine of our modern age.
