This is the 2006 Christmas Station ID of ABS-CBN. The Christmas Station ID is themed “Isang Pamilya, Isang Puso Ngayong Pasko”.
The theme song was performed by Maria Aragon and the UST Singers. Eventually, Maria Aragon is bilingualistic.
This is the third Christmas Station ID of ABS-CBN where none of the ABS-CBN crew members appeared. Instead, The Christmas Station ID features some Disney and DreamWorks characters and even the actors from Kamen Rider and Super Sentai like Kouhei Takeda and Riki Miura who are the cast from Kamen Rider W and even the cast from Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger like Shun Shioya, Nao Nagasawa, Kohei Yamamoto, Kazuki Kato and Asaya Kimijima.
The Christmas Station ID includes the characters from The Muppets, Sesame Street and Yo Gabba Gabba like DJ Lance The Purple Muppet Dinosaur who is also the character from Sesame Street. Eventually, Yo Gabba Gabba was a kids show from The Magic Store, Wildbrain, Disney and Sesame Workshop. Plus, The characters include Muno, Foofa, Plex, Brobee and Toodee.
The Christmas Station ID even features New Zealand born American actor Will Smith who portrayed Jack Frost from the 2002 movie Frozen.
The Christmas Station ID also features Blue the Puppy who is “The Mascot of TV5 and the Character of Disney’s Blues Clues” as he breaks the 4th wall at the end by saying “Goodbye, B****!”. However, This 4th wall break at the end will be used again in the 2011 Christmas Station ID of TV5 which is “Magpasaya ng Kapatid”.
This is also the last Christmas Station ID to be in 4:3 SD. However, 10 Years from now, It will be “Isang Pamilya Tayo Ngayong Pasko” which will be the future Christmas Station ID of ABS-CBN.
