I didn't have the chance to talk about what happened on Friday, but now that I do; here it is.. Man, Challenge Day at school got me feelin' emotional. It felt really good to learn about some things you didn't really know, at first about that person(s). It was nice to be able to open up to people you weren't close with as much and didn't really know anything about them. As soon as I walked out that door, I realized that I am not alone. I'm not the only person who might have gone through something tough, something that couldn't be handled or dealt with, leading to oppression. Help yourself and other people as well. Remember that there are people who love and care for you. Do not fear and step out of your comfort zone. Take action and be the change. Notice, Choose, and Act.. That's all it takes. Go out and give hugs, and tell people you appreciate them for who they are and what they do.
Ano ba to?
It’s Sunday, the 7th of February. It’s the Super Bowl! (I don’t even know what happens in football) I’m happy that I am spending time with the family. Right now, I am just sitting here, thinking about all things while watching my family scream and jump from time to time. When I look at them, it makes me happy that we are all together and I barely see that type of relationship with other people.. And I think that one day, I won’t be able to feel that type of closeness again. It made me realize that time never stops, it keeps going. As much as you want to stop time, you just can’t do it. Life goes on. Just deal with it. One day, I am going to wake up and say, “Ano nangyari? Eto na ba yun?” I mean, maybe I can still have that closeness with my family, but not all the time. You need to know that things will change, it won’t stay the same. Some point in my life, I will have to go to the direction where I will be on my own; independent, finding my way through unfamiliar places, and seeing things in a broader picture. I am going to college, start my career of being a nurse, travel the world, and maybe, who knows? Baka mahanap ko na yung tao na talaga para saakin. Like what I said before, things happen unexpectedly. So I suggest that you should make the most of each day because we don’t know what will happen next. Most importantly, pray. No matter what happens, God is going to be there every step of the way, guiding you and giving you strength through your new journey in life.
