Promp #1: My Lovely Host Family By Tamara C.
I really loved my host Family, I have 2 brothers, the oldest one is called Evan, he is so funny and makes me felt so welcome, and the youngest one is called Keegan, so sweet and makes me understood all the words, because he speaks slow. Sometimes I missed my family but my beautiful host family made me feel so welcome that the time passed so quickly. I would like to spend more time with them. I will always remember the beautiful time that I spent with my host family! I will always love my host family!

Prompt #5: Youth on Record By Tamara C.
We went to Youth on Record, it was amazing, because they mission is that the youth to discover how their voice and value can create a better world thouht the music. We had the opportunity to see the surroundings where Youth on Record was located and to express our voice trough the music, I have learned that you can express your own voice though the arts.

Prompt #7: Snow By Tamara C.
The thing I will remember most about my Host Community will be the snow, cause it was my first time touching and seeing the snow, I really loved that, we go to the mountains to see the snow, and then we went to the Estes Park and it was snowing!! Was a wonderful thing to remember with my host family.

Promp #3: Volunteer Activity By Tamara C.
We were in Food Bank of the Rokies helping to clean the food that people and bussisnes donated and saw is the food was good ( expiration date), then put into boxes divided into diferent type (like liquids, snacks, cereals, etc.) I have learned that we need to help our community and there is not limit to serve. If you want to serve YOU CAN DO IT. There are homeless and people without job, we shouldn't judge them, we should help them to meake their life better
Reflections about mentoring in the USA
Being one of the adult mentors in this year project is both a great honor and a huge responsibilty. I have been working as a teacher in Argentina for 20 years and I know first hand how rewarding working and being in charge of young peaople is but also how overwelming it can become. The way I see it, the most important characterstics an adult mentor should have are common sense, responsibility and the ability to be in contro without being overprotective. We must be flexible and understanding, we have to be able to listen effectively to the needs our groups may express but above all we have to make them realize that they can trust us and rely on our guidance when or if an issue they cannot handle themselves arise. Adult mentors have a broader experience and can help to bridge the cultural gap and to ease all those events that could lead to unpleasant situations.
