I learned that we were able to work well, listening and respecting the opinions of the other, organizing ourselves with the different steps, sometimes separating roles (or steps) as well and asking other people or students where some places that we did not guess were located. Also, I get along very well with Gabi and I met many places of the academical grounds of the UVA 😊

#6 Colorado State Capitol |By: Fram (Chile) This is a group photo in the state Capitol. This is a popular location because in there the senators work. Inside you can see a room with all the presidents of United States and in the middle of the building you can see the dome and you can go up and see Denver with other perspective.

#1 Home away from home | by: Fram (Chile). Live with my host family was an amazing experience! I learned a lot of them and they learned a lot of me and my country. They was so friendly with me and always helped me if I didn't understand something. They always asked me if I wanted to do something or go to visit somewhere. When we were in somewhere touristic they always told me about the place and the history. And when I told their that I eat all the salads with lemon, they began to give me lemon in all the dinners. My host family eats the same thing that my family in Chile eats (healthy things) like no sodas. And the differences between they and my family is that we have "onces" (tea time) and they have dinners.

#3 Food Bank | by: Fram (Chile). In this activity we had to help in a food bank. We had to separate in little groups with different works. In my little group, we had to organize many kinds of snacks and desserts in a little box. It was like play Tetris! The time pass very fast! And we felt that we was a good collaboration in the place.

#5 Scavenger hunt | by: Fram (Chile). In this activity we had to separate in groups and each group had to be with a U.S student. And then with the list of challenges and a maps we had to go outside and look for the challenges. Each challenge had a score and if we took a selfie we had double score. We had to go to as challenges as we can. In this activity I learned about teamwork, respect, listen to others and punctuality PD: my group won!
