AHHSDKGSDG SHE LOOKS SO GOOD WTF!!
emotional week for the wbb community
I’m actually so sad that that was it for AP in college, she was really the first player outside of UConn that I became a fan of, and man did she leave it all out there against Gonzaga. 35 for number 35. Oof i’m actually getting a bit emotional about it 🥺 can’t wait for her name to be called out on draft night and I sincerely hope that she can make it on to an active roster and continue to grow and flourish in the league. She’s got a fan in me forever, regardless.

35 for #35 made me so emotional. What a poetic way to end your last game and she had her signature efficiency and everything. I wanted it to end differently, but I'm glad she got to end it on a good note. I've seen her predicted go around the 8-11 range but I'm kinda hoping Minnesota picks her up earlier 🤞🏾
On another note, the stuff that Utah WBB experienced this weekend was horrendous and the NCAA needs to do a serious investigation of their accommodation policies. From what I've heard today, that place is a notoriously racist town and this never should have happened in the first place. On top of that, why was a team playing in Spokane, Washington, in fucking Idaho anyway? I don't really care if that fits the 35-minute rule or whatever, it's still ridiculous. I saw on twitter, that next year's regional in Spokane might also look into accommodations in Idaho and that's absolutely fucking insane. Protect these young women. They deserve so much better than this.
the PRESS CONFERENCE ADDRESSING THIS ended early because it was disrupted by an alt-right leader, so why would the ncaa even think about sending teams there? absolutely disgusting, utah and the teams staying there were failed.

Omg there’s an AAU team in Alaska named after her?! 🥺🥺 i have the softest spot for her, I really hope we see her shine again during the tournament and maybe cause some upsets 🙏
i saw that! i love reading the impact she has on different indigenous communities. read an article that talked about how indigenous fans would travel hours away just to watch, and it also said that she could be the 6th ever indigenous player to be drafted and the 5th to (hopefully) make a roster. i really hope utah can make it to the sweet 16 again and do well against likely texas - they had a REALLY close single digit loss against lsu last year.
The end of that stanford utah game today was uh chaotic, to say the least 😅 Sad day for the Pili hive, bestie did not have a good game but still love her 😭
It was mismanagement and I need everyone fired immediately. Listen my girl is having a moment but it's FINE. She's gonna get through it. 😭😭😭
Idk if you watched the stanford vs utah game but the officiating at the end was appalling 😭 the no-call on a clear shot clock violation by stanford then the jump ball call on cam brink (although i guess those two bad calls evened each other out lol) but then the jump ball call on alissa when she was clearly fouled?! I’m a uconn fan but I love pili so got a soft spot for utah and was really hoping they could win that. Need AP to get her npoy/all-american campaign back on track tho, girlie hasn’t really been her usual dominant self lately.
Anyway, a uconn win later is all i need (and maybe hopefully an azzi fudd sighting 🙏🙏😭)
I caught the end of it and yeah that was all kinds of ridiculous. The reffing has been terrible this season but they're also missing blatantly obvious things? Like maybe let me ref at this point cause I don't understand how y'all have this job. The shot-clock violation was egregious. Idk if Utah wins with better reffing (they're down the stretch coaching is malpractice actually) but at least it wouldn't have looked that bad.
I wonder if maybe AP's a little injured? Idk every since she went down that one time, she just hasn't really looked the same.
UConn never (well...) lets me down though. Genuinely so proud of how much this team has overcome. 🥹
