utalterego is so cool, I want to put out my own ideas for a persona UTDR au I call it Personarune (very creativ naem) the basic premise is "what if the vessel never got discarded and also the game takes place over a year instead of a week" and the shadows are there You would play as your vessel and instead of living with Toriel like Kris, you would live in the Church with Father Alvin (heirophant arcana) The same events as Deltarune occur but during the card kingdom arc, shadows start to attack the dark world and the player awakens to their persona, persona shenanigans ensue.
