UtaPri Week - Day 5: Maigo no Kokoro
Option A: The Ladies of Utapri
UtaPri Week - Day Five - Maigo no Kokoro
UtaPri Week - Day Five - Maigo no Kokoro - Option B - Burdens (Physical, mental or emotional.) - Natsuki and Satsuki.
((i cried when writing this one too, i have no clue why.))
That night, Natsuki dreamt of demons. He had these dreams before, but said dreams were crammed with bloody and cruel violence, death and destruction to all around him. This dream was different. In this dream, Natsuki stood in a white room; All the walls were white along with the floor and the ceiling, but one wall was a mirror. It looked like their practice room in the Master Course building, to be honest. The only objects in the room were a table and chair, plain as anything. Natsuki could see his reflection clearly from where he was standing, but the mirror image looked.. slightly different. He was missing his glasses. Taking slow and steady steps towards the wall, the mirror image did the same, only smirking slightly. The mirror image was identical to him in every way; His hair was a dirty yellow and curly to the core, his eyes were a sly emerald green and he had the same body proportions to Natsuki. The only differences were the lack of poor eyesight and the facial expressions. He looked angry, ferocious, even villainous. Natsuki held his breath nervously as he approached the wall. He stopped. “… Who are you?” The mirror image chuckled darkly, exposing his voice to the room. The pitch of his voice was lower than Natsuki’s, but the accent and dialect remained the same. “I’m you, which is rather obvious. You’ve noticed that we’re rather different, you and I. Truth be told, I was formed from the darkness of your mind, when you were younger, and I stand to protect you in times of danger. You can call me Satsuki. That’s all there is to it.” Natsuki didn’t understand. This mirror of himself was essentially his darker side, only coming out in times of desperate need? That couldn’t be true, or even physically possible… “What’s wrong? Are you scared? If needs be, I’LL PROTECT YOU…” Natsuki woke up in a cold sweat, breath sharp against the soft air in his bedroom. “…” “… Satsuki… huh.”
