Dear Brody,

The heat is definitely not my friend. I think I've sweated more this past month than I ever have in my life. And working at the diner doesn't help anything. I've been keeping the fan on in my room and sleeping in almost nothing. That's TMI, I'm sorry. I really can't wait to meet him or her and really, despite the heat, I do like being pregnant. It's definitely a magical feeling.

There's actually a story behind finding out the gender. My mom along with Finn's planned a road trip for us and we drove part of Route 66 all the way to Santa Monica and once we got to the pier, we opened a box and inside was some thing relating to the gender. I would tell you what we're having, but we decided to keep it between the family for a little bit. Though, it's getting harder to not just scream it to the world. But I do appreciate your compliment. I really do.

The only bad thing about that day was that I'm so sure that I ruined everything with Finn. I have fallen in love with him. At first, I thought it was just all the hormones with the pregnancy, but after talking with my mom, I know it's real. And I told him that. It didn't go as I thought it would. Not that I thought that it was going to go good. Everything is awkward now. I have no idea what to do. All I know is my heart hurts.

Your summer doesn't sound bad. I don't mind watching kid things so I think I have a one up there. Though, a bunch of times may get annoying. The trip was the only thing really big that happened since school ended. Until this upcoming week. I'm meeting my dad for the first time. You saw Puck? If you see him again, tell him I said hi. What do you mean not in the way I'm thinking? You're just hanging out, right?

To answer your question about Glee club, I'll think about it. I'm not sure everyone will want me just sitting there watching you guys, but if someone does, I might. At least before the baby gets here. And thank you for the onesie. It's adorable. I hope the rest of your summer goes great.

dear brittany,  

summer for the most part is nothing worth updating on. regular work updates only make me feel like some forty year old whose been trapped in a marriage with kids. though-- the nightmare of domestication has been bestowed upon me. unfortunately, it doesn’t look like a bright and shiny well thought out plan to europe, but rather my bed being cut in half and finding random things in my apartment that i swear i didn’t approve of. 

but i suppose that kurt is an OKAY person. haha, he’s actually more than okay. he’s a joy to hang out with and when he’s not there, i feel like there is something missing. which is weird, we’ve only been dating for a month. maybe it’s because we’re both bored... like all the time. 

it’s a change of pace. i can’t wait to see wss with bushBerry and B. i don’t think you guys will make seeing them-- unless you come back for a brief moment.

Dear Finn,

I hope that things are going well on your road trip! Or I guess that they went well since you won’t get this until you get back. Marley told me you’re finding out the sex of the baby, which is cool! I miss you back here in Austin. It’s pretty quiet around here. Plus, with both you and Sam gone, I don’t have any of my video game buddies to hang out with. Definitely stop by my apartment once you’re back! My sublet has a pretty nice set-up. 

I’m still in rehearsals for West Side Story, but they’re getting more intense as we get closer to opening. I’ve never danced so much in my life. I hope you’ll come see it! I’m having a lot of fun and this will be great to have on my resume, but ultimately I think it’s just been nice to have something to do during the summer. I’ve never been good with having time to myself. Maybe that makes me a little crazy, but that’s just how I am. 

I’m going to visit Sam in Tennessee for the 4th! Tina, Sam, and I will just get to hang out on the farm and see fireworks and go to a farmer’s market. I’m really excited! I’m such a city boy that getting to play at country for a few days is going to be a blast, I think. 

Let’s see, what else is new? I think I might be falling for a friend? I guess that’s new. Someone I used to have a crush on but thought I was never, ever going to have a chance with. Well, we got drunk and the next thing I knew, he was confessing to wanting to kiss me and I was confessing to the crush and... I don’t know when I’ll see him next because of summer, but I think we’re going to see if being more than friends is a thing we should do. Which kind of makes me nervous, if I’m honest... And I know that’s silly. 

Anyways, those are really my life updates. Nothing else comes to mind. You’d better tell me all about that road trip and all the adventures you had! I am entirely living vicariously through all these awesome vacations. ;)

Dear Tina,

I know I'm a little late with this, but along with this letter is a little gift from Italy as a little birthday gift. It's a little figure of the Leaning Tower, which may be cliche, but I thought you would like it. If you want something else, just let me know and I'll pick it up for you. But really, Happy Birthday! I hope it was fantastic.

As I am sure you've seen, Brittany and I are having the time of our lives in Europe. Amsterdam is amazing and I swear each place just keeps getting better and better. I'm sure with all the posts and stuff that seems more like gloating then anything, right? I'm really trying to be better at that. So I should just shut up about it, right?

This summer is going by so quickly and I hope you are doing amazing. I hope you're having an amazing summer and I cannot wait to see you and everyone else once school starts back up. Again, I hope you had an amazing birthday and rest of your summer.

i totally know you’re on vacation right now in europe. i’ve been following your instagram feed and let me just say that i’m soooo jealous of what’s going on right now. you and brittany totally look like you’re having fun. 

last weekend, tana came up and well... we had a lot of fun. we got to look around new york together and take pictures and shit. then we went back to celebrate my birthday. it was really great. 

for the fourth of july, i’m going to see sam and blaine! it’s gonna be so fun! it’s all right before he and rachel do west side story so it’s gonna be perfect! anyway, this probably won’t reach you until you get back to dallas, but that’s cool. it’s not really that important anyway.
