I haven’t seen anything being planned but that doesn’t mean that people aren’t planning things anyways.

Do you know of any homestucks in vernal, or how I could find some? I moved here a few months ago and I have yet to meet anyone who even knows what homestuck is. There is 1 hs with like 1200 kids, I'm hoping there is at least 1 who is a homestuck...

Hm…I, personally, don’t know of any Homestucks that live in Vernal but I can certainly ask around! You can also, if you have a facebook, comment on our facebook page and see if anyone responds. :O

NOTICE

If you are staying in a hotel DO NOT GET INTO A POOL WITH YOUR PAINT/MAKEUP ON.  Shower and get it ALL off before getting into ANY pool. We've been asked by the hotel staff at Home2Suites to let people know that but it really should be common sense. If I hear that someone has disregarded the rules there will be consequences.

Alright friends I have a quick message for all of you! I'm sure most of you are aware of the things that I'm going to talk about but I'm going to talk about them anyway for safety's sake.

Banzai is Friday guys!!!!! And though we're all pretty dang excited, there are some rules that we ALL need to keep in mind.

Please DO NOT touch people or their props without their permission! I know you want to show your love for your favorite character but people may or may not have fragile props or accessories on their outfits and it would be horrible for something to break.

SEAL YOUR BEN NYE/PAINT ALL OF IT! I do not want Con staff or Hotel staff getting angry about grey/whatever colored paint that you are using getting all over the place. It's also VERY disrespectful to the staff and to cosplayers that you may rub off on. You can find sealers at Pib's exchange or a Halloween shop that sells face paint OR you can order it online and have it shipped overnight.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT be hostile towards people. I don't care if you hate their character you WILL NOT do something to purposely injure someone or their cosplay. If I hear about anyone doing this I will report them to Con Security and they will be removed from the group. If you feel threatened by someone while you're at the con PLEASE let me know and I will do something about it. In character harassment falls under this category as well. If you're trying to tease or be rude in character and you are making the other person uncomfortable then you need to STOP.

Please, please, PLEASE let's be on our best behavior. Homestuck sorta has a bad wrap amongst the rest of the other fandoms so lets not give them a reason to be snarky and mean. We're all totally awesome people so let's show it, yeah?

I'd also like to say again that if you feel threatened, scared, or generally confused/lost PLEASE come find me, Samm, or Elena (Or talk to Con staff, they're super cool) and we will be happy to help you. I'll be posting pictures of what we'll be wearing the Wednesday night/Thursday morning so everyone will know what we look like~

You have to be really careful when you want to sell Homestuck related items! Andrew Hussie is kind enough to make this wonderful, free, comic for us the least you could do is be aware of what is and is not acceptable!
