Maybe it was silly to lay in this field after everything was said and done. Yuma was happy and back on earth with all her friends and loved ones, the Barian race allowed a second chance and all was right with the world... So why did he feel so empty? He'd always know he'd have to return home, it had been his job to gather his memories, to defeat the Barian empires and to save the peace of the three worlds. So why did he feel alone? He knew why, actually. A teenage girl, a human who had annoyed him with her incompetence, her impatience, she was irksome in the worst ways. Yet he still remembered her words.
"Astral, you're my best friend...!"
"...I want to see her again. She was to lose what or who was most precious to her... For desiring power. Am I also to be punished?" he mused, reaching a hand out as if to touch the starry sky above him. What he didn't expect was the sudden jolt of energy that ran through him, searing him through the heart as he fell from his world and he kept falling, falling... Falling for what seemed an eternity.
Yet when heterochromatic eyes opened and silver and gold scanned his surroundings, surprise filtered though him... Was this Earth? "I'm... Home." an utterance to fall past ethereal lips, now his task was simple, he had to find Yuma and see how she was doing.
