    I know the rule is to share 6 random things about myself but I could only thought of a couple.  So I changed the rule a bit and write about my favourite TV shows.  

  1. original Star Trek. It was aired repeatedly at late night in the late 70s in Japan along with Mission Impossible, Mash and etc...  Spock was my favourite character. Never thought about slashing or shipping maybe because I was too young (13,14 I guess) or just just nonchalant about slash or ship back then. 

  2. Hill Street Blues: It was a realistic cop drama in the early 80s and was a late-night show.  I got hooked into the drama itself. I guess this show was the first adult drama for me. 

  ---these 2 were in the pre-VHS or DVD era ;-p

  3. Twin Peaks: Cherry pie (watched by VHS)

  4. X-Files: I started watching it from some part of the second season. Back then I was living in Honolulu, so I watched the show real time.  When I found it I was in English language school preparing for grad school, my English wasn’t good so it was quite difficult to get the details but I loved the show because I’ve been into the aliens and ghosts and supernatural stuff.  I shipped or should I say slashed, Mulder and Krycek.  I guess I am a rare pair shipper from the beginning.  Got sick of those cliffhangers and Scully's tears around 7 seasons and eventually lost interest. 

  5. Due South: I enjoyed watching two main characters' friendship. Bromance, now you call it. I was familiar with yaoi or shonenai until then, enjoying reading and writing stories, but for some reasons I've never ever shipped them. 

  6. Ultraviolet: UK's Sci-Fi drama about code V, vampire.  Though it has only 6 episodes, the world was fascinating and the story was promising.  I really wished that they continued making it.  And there were so many good actors, such as Jack Davenport. Iris Elba, and Stephen Moyer.  I sort of shipped Michael and Jack.

Last time I cried: two days ago, while watching Mordred telling Morgana who Emrys is.  His performance is so great and makes me cry sometimes.

GENERAL: How many people do you know on your facebook lists in real life: everyone. I do Facebook for RL communication.

First best friend: had one when we were 14 or so, but she needed to go back to her parents' hometown and that was the end of our friendship.

First sport your joined: other than school's PE, nothing.  I'm not a sport person.

First vacation: my mother's hometown

First pair of trainers: I don't know, maybe those for school's PE.  If they don't count, I've never had any. 

RIGHT NOW:

Drinking: tea

I’m about to: eat

Waiting for: a one-day onsen trip with my young nephews and nieces next week

Want kids: no.  actually I am passing the time limit.

Career: now I'm half resting.  in the future, yes, I want to be busy.

Hugs or kisses: cannot decide

Romantic or spontaneous: romantic sounds nice 

Nice stomach or arms: both, it's impossible to choose one

Trouble-maker or hesitant: I don't know...  If the person is a big trouble maker or really hesitant, I can't take both of them, but if the person is mild trouble maker or mildly hesitant, I can go with hesitant.

Drank hard liquor: yes, guess grappa was the strongest.

Lost glasses or contacts: yes, both

1. Coke or Pepsi?

Coke. Pepsi is too sweet to me.

2.Nicknames people call you?

I don't have any nicknames.  Friends call me with my first name.  Oh, come to think of it, I had one nickname that I hated when I was in grade school.  But it became THE nickname of me and my two younger siblings.  Some friends from grade school still call me with that. 

3.Any bad habbits?

I'm a night person and sleep late.

4.What’s your dream Job?

I'm self employed and doing this and that because doing only my main job wouldn't make my living.  So doing only my main job would be my dream-like job situation.  Sorry that I got quite realistic.  

5.Special talents?

Singing.  Popular music on karaoke, though.  When I was in the late 20s but looked much younger to the people in Hawaii, whenever I sang some songs at Karaoke bar, other customers there used to say to me that I should be a professional singer.  And at another karaoke bar and I was in the early 30s, I was asked if I was a professional singer...  Now?  Don't ask me, please. 

6.One food you hate

pork.  Just don't like the taste and the smell of it.  I don't know why.

7.Can you drive?

No.  I got my driving license at Hawaii when I lived there and it expired after I came back to Japan.  I didn't get one here because it's really really expensive to get one and I live in a city where public transportation is fully developed.

8.Somewhere you would like to visit?

Iceland and the space!!

9.Would you rather live without TV or without music?

Definitely without TV.  I cannot live without music.

10.Cats or dogs?

dogs.  Cats are cute, too, but they can give me sneezes and itches...

11..Spell your name with your chin ( I told you my questions will be stupid :D)

I did it :)  I didn't know spelling the word 's' is this challenging to me.  I got confused with which way to start and the first time I wrote it in a mirror image ;-p

This is the earlier anon. I'm sorry to say I didn't find it online, I meant found as in on Amazon where I was able for a high price to get a copy on tape and watch it at my grandma's. Sorry about that. I think you are right, I feel that at the end he realized what a lonely and empty existence he had and what he lost. I feel like he cleaned up his act but would never love a woman in quite the way hey loved Jenny. I thought it was very realistic. Thanks for your comments!

I'm sorry, utterlywholocked. I just searched for it again as well and couldn't find it online. I really miss the SuperGravesDigger channel on YT. :/

I must say I hate open endings but the nice thing about them is that you can dream your own one and so we can happily imagine that Patrick learned from his mistakes :)
