i am truly really loving the jumper and spoke dynamic in unstable and am wishing for spoke the neurotic mess that he is to unintentionally blur the lines between their professional relationship and emotional dependence especially now that his yesmen are missing but i do need jumper to mog spoke pretty soon so he can realise that she is neither tweedlemapicc or tweedlezam and won’t just go along with all of his plans. realistically that realisation would make spoke distance himself from jumper and start to keep even more secrets but i don’t know i also want to see them as like. partners in ruthlessness. in that they have seen the worst of each other and thus can continue to bare that ugly side without compromising a relationship the way spoke is unwillingly to do with mapicc and zam. or i’d also like to see jumper as like. spoke’s parole officer lol. because mapicc can rarely talk spoke down from terrible acts anymore (sometimes he’s a participant but other times spoke knows to just lie) but jumper is too smart for spoke to get away with things under her nose and. idk i just want to see jumper as the thing that keeps spoke in check, but the way spoke is he’ll always be drawn back to those risky atrocities. spoke can never lie that he’s changed or reformed because they both know that jumper knows just how black of a soul he has. there is inevitably gonna be conflict between these two i just wanna see where they go with it
