How long before it becomes too much?
spoke saying he has nothing to lose because mapicc isn’t even in the cards as something he CAN lose to him. when the mafia “stole mapicc”. when mapicc referred to minute as “our only friend” because they share everything. mapicc will stay to fight the sleepy nation’s leaders if spoke stays. they might argue every now and then over the next best course of action but there is not a single time when mapicc isn’t either right by spoke’s side or doing everything he says. mapicc doesn’t fade away with the others when spoke says he has nothing left to lose because mapicc is a part spoke. he IS spoke. we might just have encountered the final boss of codependency where they fuse into an amalgamation where you’re not sure where one starts and the other ends.
So I be thinking about Mapicc and Spoke. Y’know, a normal amount. And man, Spoke is so traumatized by JamatoP & Ashswagg, that he cannot even see that Mapicc is a ride or die kind of friend.
Like, my guy, the secret keeping is unnecessary. Mapicc has watched you commit atrocities and basically went “Damn, that’s messed up brother... Anyways.”
The Exploits? Mapicc helps fix it.
Mafia shenanigans? He didn’t like it, but he stayed.
You kill an innocent player? Guess that’s what we’re doing now.
The ONE time Mapicc has actually actively wanted to dip was because Spoke wouldn’t admit Ashswagg was playing him. That’s it. And the second Spoke went “yeah okay I messed up,” Mapicc was back in the car.
Spoke thinks telling Mapicc the truth would make him leave. Meanwhile Mapicc has already called shotgun.
