Inherent Worth and Dignity, damn it!

I'm a Unitarian Universalist. I'm also a registered Libertarian, and it's not a secret. But one of the things I've noticed about my church is that they can't talk across political lines. We teach that every person has inherent worth and dignity, but if their political party is the "wrong" one, suddenly we forget that principle. No, you don't need a safety plan of a Republican walks through the door. How about you just grow the fuck up and treat people like people?
