marrying Ash would make Zam soooo much worse. and make everything so much worse for Wemmbu. the awfulest, most fucked-up polycule ever. can you even call it a polycule if it's just Ash and Zam making Wemmbu constantly third-weel because they find it entertaining. there's also going to be soooo much dehumanization. i can't wait
Hi I'm Maxim! (he/they, an adult) On this blog i mostly yap about Unstable but i have a looot of other interests that I'm going to mention a lot (mostly vocaloid and reverse: 1999 but also a lot of different manga and anime).
I'm a multishipper! I like almost every Wemmbu ship and constantly come up with some new stupid non-existant ship to get obsessed with (like wemmfies or mapemato).

My ao3 user is Maximio_Ustriciano i think literally all fics i ever posted on tumblr are also here. I mostly keep it all in this collection
I'll make description of my tags under cut one day trust (<- REMINDER FOR MYSELF)
it's all happening in timeloop au, which is set right after s1 of unstable. it's essentially about Parrot and Spoke travelling back in time to try to save Wifies and Mapicc (who i killed for Spoke's character development), win against mafia and overall reach a better ending for themselves and the server
this one is a timeline where Zam and Wemmbu didn't break up (because of Spoke & Parrot's influence) so they didn't drain each other in that cycle of violence and at the time invis mafia became a Thing they were still a really strong alliance. then it comes to a "crackship" part. there was some long nonsense monologue from Ash where he was yapping about business meetings with other powerful people, going on some balls or something. and so, i thought, why don't i take it further and add "arranged marriage with someone of his class" trope. and who's the "person of his class" he could theoretically marry? emperor Zam
and so because of this marriage all Zam Empire technically becomes part of invis mafia territory and Wemmbu, who's Zam's special little knight, becomes Ash's diamond guy on par with Mane, Flame, Clown and Minute. so he's essentially under Ash's control but also under Zam's direct control. which often leads to ashzam's stupid bickering when they have different ideas of what Wemmbu should be doing
and so. Wemmbu stays Zam's special little knight, and literally everyone knows they're fucking, and Zam things it's really funny to have this sort of "secret lover" behind his husband's back (Ash also knows and also thinks it's funny and sometimes plays into this. ashzam very much enjoy playing "cheating" scenario and including Wemmbu in their fucked-up whatever this is relationship while Wemmbu rapidly loses his mind)
what else. i think I've written a little dialogue with Clown degrading Wemmbu but maybe i only wrote it in my head. ill go search for it
hi leo i really hope you sent it expecting me to yap about timeloop au because i AM going to do it now
so. one of the funniest things about it is thinking about how being trapped in a time loop affects both Parrot and Spoke. and. and it's important. they could STOP going back in time if they feel like it was enough. but as time goes on, both of them become more used to it and more willing to "reset and try again" the moment even a smallest thing goes wrong
also Parrot specifically starts getting really. how do i put it. numb? he starts caring less and less about other people (other than Spoke), doesn't try to form attachments with people he doesn't know yet, starts seeing everyone around as "not real people" because, you know, the fact that you could just reset them really messes with his head
idk if i ever said anything about it. but i was planning plot if this fic right after uu s1 finale. and in my prediction, Parrot was going to become more "rational" and stoic and "controlled". in a sense that he's trying desperately to rationalize everything and act according to his "rational mind" and not paying attention to his emotions. (and failing miserably because what he does in reality is following his irrational impulses). while Spoke was going to become more and more "unpredictable", more emotional, acting on his impulses and not trying to stick to any plans anymore.
and now, thinking back. didn't i kinda predict their character changes in s2? wow that's kinda cool
so what was i saying. for both Parrot and Spoke "trying to create a timeline where Wifies and Mapicc are alive" has been main goal for a long, long time. and this goal was always unreachable, impossible. and if at first it was devastating, trying so hard only to see them die and everything fall apart again and again, then it becomes comforting. they always have a goal, something to move forward to
and imagine they suddenly finally reach this goal. and they should feel happy. but what they do instead is try to find reasons why they shouldn't be satisfied with an ending they got, some excuse to go back again and redo everything again. they don't know what to expect in future anymore, because they never got this far. they don't have any new goals, and it's really hard to make a new one after living for only one reason for so long. aaaand both of them obviously have their own issues too
Spoke, for once, is terrified of staying with Jamato (who he successfully finds and saves in final timeline). he's terrified of actually being loved and accepted (by anyone other than Parrot), after everything he's done, all the deaths and suffering and damage to the server he caused. and Jamato not just hears him out about the whole time-traveling thing (and not dies afterwards!) and doesn't abandon him, he also thinks of him as a hero. not a irredeemable villain Spoke sees himself as. and Spoke doesn't feel like he deserves all that or even just staying in the world that is (somewhat) stable and safe
and also ☝️ Spoke does have a reason to reset the time again: in this timeline he's never met Minute. Minute is probably alive (he is, but i know this because i made it up. Spoke doesn't know for sure). and what might be an even bigger problem is that Spoke almost fully forgot how to form new relationships. so it's easier to his traumatized brain to go back in time to let everything go as it was before so he meets Minute the way he did before, than to form a friendship anew like a normal person would
what about Parrot, what about Parrot. theoretically, there's a LOT of repressed, hidden guilt in him. he killed Wifies in one of the timelines. he saw Wifies being happier without him than he ever was with Parrot. he purposefully destroyed other people's (Wemmbu's for example) lives for his own gain. he knows Spoke only stays with him because he has no one else and not because Parrot was actually a good friend to him. so. he probably also would have reasons to feel like he doesn't deserve to live a life he was trying to build for so long
and also. he straight-up doesn't know how to deal with Wifies anymore. there was a timeline where they got closer than ever and Parrot trusted his with a thing he's the most scared to share (stuff about time-traveling). but that Wifies is dead, and any other Wifies doesn't share the same memories and experiences. there was a timeline where Wifies became a villain and Parrot killed him with his own hands. there was a timeline where Wifies chose a different person. Parrot is starting to lose understanding of who Wifies is, and who he wants him to be (and which kind of relationship he wants to have with him).
and also. Parrot is an idealist. and he sees that while this timeline is the best they've ever reached, it's not perfect. and he has his raging saviour complex, which makes him want to go to the past again and again and create a reality where no one suffers from mafia/PZE/etc (which is Impossible and it's Good because it's an unreachable goal)
idk. convincing Spoke to stay in this timeline is pretty easy. he has a best friend (Mapicc) who's alive and wants him to stay here and would punch him if he starts making up stupid reasons to leave. and he has a boyfriend (Jamato) who knows him well and knows how to convince him. and i have a whole scene written in my head where they successfully convince Spoke to stay.
Parrot, on the other hand. i never really thought about how to make him stay here. he definitely would if Spoke makes a decision to stay and makes it clear that it's final. but their extreme codependency is obviously two-sided. so if Parrot makes a final decision to leave, Spoke would leave with him
