Day 3 - A duo you appreciate - The squishies <3
It’s the darlings, the found family ever. They are dear to me, Tatiana and her very lame adopted father. Theyre very sweet. Im enamoured with them.
^Vague post canon interaction, because I’m a fan of Tatianas prickly personality in loop 101 and her loser uncle/surrogate father who she stays with when she’s in America.

UU Appreciation Week Day 6
Something You Appreciate About Loop 101: The Fix
The most common complaint I heard during L101 was that it felt like there were "no stakes," because it was just Fuuko hopping from one Negator to the next and fixing their problems without incident
No one dies, no one loses anything, everyone's happy
And this is...a bad thing somehow?
L100 was entirely centered around finding happiness in your life, about playing the hand you've been dealt, unfair and tragic as it may be. It was inspiring to see the strength it took to stay positive despite it all, to find the will to make a change, so on some level, I get it: it's a testament to the human spirit, and without those hardships, the story would suffer
But that's the thing about L101: it isn't a story without hardship, it's a story after hardship
Fuuko didn't literally appear out of nowhere to make sure that no one was ever sad, she appeared in a new version of the world she knew with knowledge and direct experience of how it could all go wrong, and put in two centuries of isolated effort to ensure none of her friends had their happiness stolen from them by an unforgiving God
We know the stakes for L101, they're called L100! We spent 130 chapters seeing the worst-case scenario for every single character, so why would anyone be upset that they got back the lives that they lost?
What would the point have been if Mei still died? What would that have done for Shen's happiness? We know how it destroyed him to lose her, and how it impacted his relationship with Feng - why shouldn't we see a version of the world where Feng doesn't commit such an unforgivable act of cruelty that he and Shen can't be mutually happy?
The point of Undead Unluck is to enjoy life. We saw a version where the Union made their happiness after picking up the pieces, don't they deserve a version where they retained their happiness in the first place?
They still learned the lessons, they still became more complete people, why is that only valid if they suffer?
No, L101 wouldn't work in isolation, but off the heels of L100? It's beautiful, it's cathartic, it's exactly what I wanted, and I appreciate how well Tozuka crafted the two halves of his story to convey the themes from two different directions
I don't know why I like him, I just adore this boy.

Day 6. Something you appreciate about L101
THE HAPPY ENDING, BABY, or more so, the journey to get it!
I remember reading some comments saying that the series was now "boring" because we knew that we were preventing everyone's tragedies-but honestly, I loved to see it, especially after seeing their tragedies last loop. I was really excited to see HOW we would get to those well-deserved happy endings.
And I really love that we got to see more about Tella's past and the way they prevented his tragedy- And I also adored his endgame as a music teacher, after not being able to sing for so long 💖
Some BillyTella as teachers fanart that I got when the manga ended and forgot to post. Oops.

A duo I appreciate is Fuuko and Gina! I love that they went from love rivals to inseparable best friends! I love their dynamic and I like that we got to explore their relationship in L101! 💖
#UUAppreciationWeek2025 Day 7:
UU has impacted me in so many ways & its message of love & triumph means so much to me…😭Reading this series lit a flame of creativity within me & I’ve made so many wonderful friends because of this community! Thank you Tozuka for everything!💖
#UUAppreciationWeek2025 Day 1:
A character I appreciate is Anno Un! Such an impactful character despite how little screen time he gets (lol)
The catalyst for so many of the story’s events and full of AMAZING moments any time he shows up, I appreciate Anno Un a lot!!
