Summary: Equality for All and Inequality for None With Thomi Clinton Thomi Clinton began working in human rights issues in 1988 and has advocated for full LGBT equality since that time. She is the Chief Executive Officer of Transgender Community Coalition in Palm Springs, CA which advocates for open access to health care, housing and employment for transgender, intersex and gender non-conforming people in the Coachella Valley. Transgender Community Coalition serves the Inland Empire for the Transgender, Intersex, Gender Non-Conforming and Non-Binary community, we also serve on committees to improve the quality of life for the Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Community. We provide services in but not limited to: Education, Linkage to healthcare, HIV/AIDS prevention and education, PrEP and PEP education, linkage to legal services, policy reform to ensure civil and health equality are obtainable in the Inland Empire, we work with youth, we work with the police departments as a victims advocate for LGBT people that are victims of hate crimes and sexual assault and we are in the process of opening the first Transgender Health and Wellness Center for the Inland Empire in Cathedral City California that will provide some medically necessary services for the Transgender, Intersex, Gender Non-Conforming and Non-Binary community.
