I have the same HAM radio that this video is about, I also have the GMRS version. I'm not a prepper or a 'shit hits the fan' kind of person, but I do carry around a few things (mostly in my van), for getting stuck in severe weather, events where my phone might not be working, and/or I become stranded somewhere and unable to make calls.
