So I’ve been re-reading fanfictions by the wonderful @lullabyes22-blog , seriously if you haven’t read them you should, they’re great.

But anyway, I got a huge urge to make the main character’s (Saya Otonashi) sword.

So here it is.

I wanted to get all the textures hooked up but I can’t find my notes for it, so that will have to wait. But not bad for an hour and a half of work.

p>And yes I know there is usually a wrapped material around the handle…I haven’t figured out how to do that elegantly in Maya yet. I’ll get there one day.

School spoiled me. Dual monitor setup is an amazing thing. Trying to create UV Maps on a singular screen while trying to fit both views is absolutely aweful. I hate it.
