Today we welcomed to class our advisory board member the inspiring ‪#‎IqbalQuadir‬ as our guest entrepreneur-in-residence. He talked about his personal journey and work as a pioneer in creating inclusive business ventures in low-income countries.

We welcome to ‪#‎UVM‬ this morning, Valeria Budinich of Ashoka as todays class speaker. Valeria is a social entrepreneur who has worked for 25 years in the creation and expansion of new businesses with social impact in 22 countries worldwide.

Our new Sustainable Entrepreneurship MBA (SEMBA) cohort begin their journey at orientation next Monday.

As part of the week, the class tackle the famed UVM ropes course to learn teamwork and earn trust.

In Vermont, we have long been known for being at the cutting edge of sustainable and renewable business...it is in our DNA. Recently the city of Burlington announced it produces all of its electricity from renewable energy sources. newshour came to see how. 

Our Sustainable Entrepreneurship MBA (SEMBA) is a one year, accredited program to develop the next generation of leaders who will build, disrupt, innovate and reinvent sustainable enterprises in a world that demands it. This is not business-as-usual.
