The exhibition “Branchings / Verzweigungen” brings together three artists under the theme of the tree, its branches and the spaces they enclose. The artists approach it in a very personal way. Uwe Poth works about the relationship between the tree and the city. Pedro Calapez focuses on a reclining tree whose branches are touched by a breath that indicates a new cycle. Christoph Both-Asmus climbs at the finest and highest branches in a unique and vital experience between sky and earth. To remember nature and to look at it with attention is also to remember our place and our role, to reconcile ourselves with our environment, with others and why not… with ourselves.
