Interludes Show…
Much thanks to my former professor and mentor, Joel Elgin, for hanging a collection of “Interludes” in the 3rd-floor printmaking gallery next to the shop at the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse. I have been fielding questions from students on the UWL Printmakers FB Page (http://bit.ly/1REtJH0). As well, I am honored to be among the hallowed names used as educational resources on his “PrintFever” blog (http://bit.ly/1UzMP75). The Interludes are not prints in the traditional sense, but they are created within the sensibility of printmaking, built layer upon layer, until the images codifies.
I took a tour at University of Wisconsin- La Crosse today. After the general campus wide close up, my mom and I were able to meet up with a professor/director from the theater arts program. He was awesome and we met u with the costume design professor(Who I had met earlier), They both knew my high school chorus teacher. The tour went on and I really like the theater department there! Though, I'm sort of indifferent about the campus. Everything kind of seems old I guess. and the dorm that my first tourguide showed us wasn't the greatest example because the people had made their own bunks. I don't know. I'm just having conflicted feelings.
