I raise you Maverick/Sledge and Lion/Rook for rare pairs

Oh these are very excellent rare pairs. I would love to hear some of your headcannons for them, like how Mav and Sledge met bc I have never thought of them together! Of course, i think any pair with Mav in it is gonna be adorable, bc look at that man!

Lion/Rook is so cuuuute. I’d like to think that Rook would help Lion become a better person; like reevaluating the way he shows himself to other, addressing his fears, and making sure he gets much needed socialization (that doesn’t end in a fist fight!). Rook is a one man army, he would definitely try to reconcile Lion and Doc (does his attempts work? that’s for you to decide!). I think that Rook originally saw Lion as almost a charity case, but the more they hung out, the more Rook came to like the man; he was funny, dedicated, troubled by his past mistakes and terrified to make more.

Yes...you have to buy them. The vast majority of the cosmetics cost money. So if you want any of them...you have to buy them. But why would anyone buy them if they are poorly implemented. (I feel like you are completely misunderstanding everything I am saying.)

If Modern Warfare is dead...why are you looking it up on Tumblr?

People that have the game (for example, me) can't use them either unless you buy a loadout drop or play plunder. Cosmetics are purely cosmetic, no one's forcing you to buy them. The guns that you find scattered around the world are some of those blueprints. They're premade guns with that specific skin for that specific gun

I am fully aware that cosmetics...are purely cosmetic. I am fully aware no one is forcing me to buy them.

The whole idea of free-to-play is to get people to give you money through microtransactions. As it stands right now...the microtransactions in this game are mostly cosmetic. But, if the cosmetics are not well used in your f2p game...then people have less motivation to give you money for those cosmetics. I have no reason to ever buy a weapon skin, if I am only going to be able to use it a fraction of the time I play the game.
